It has been carried out in 2000 in the ex Sporting municipal Centre in Via Veneto, in the centre of the town. This park is dedicated to Iqbal Masih, the Pakistan child who has become the symbol of the struggle against the exploitation of the juvenile work. The management of the park has been entrusted by the Comune to the Associazione Scarabeo.
The area is equipped with lots of games. In this area children are free and they can play, enjoy, take part in some activities; there are two play-areas: one of these has been realized in 2002 and it is reserved for small children. The park has a minigolf, a track with electric cars, a cycle track, where you can also hire cricket bikes, a skating-rink, ping pong tables and a bar. The association that manages the park, organizes periodically laboratories and didactic activities, including a course for the road education for boys and girls of the elementary schools, realized in collaboration with the Driving schools and the schools of the territory. During July Parco Iqbal houses LuglioBambino, the festival dedicated to the children's world, that proposes a month with performances with the presence of many Italian and International important companies, laboratories, animation.
