The Lake is an equipped park, situated in the industrial area of Campi Bisenzio. Its management has been entrusted by the Comune to the ASD Gruppo Pesca Campi. In the lake you can fish in case of sporting competition, and there are lots of manifestations, organized by the association that manages the lake. From 1997 up to now, the lake has had some changings to improve the enjoyment. The first intervention in 1997 has been made the reshaping of the shores and the complete fencing of the area, besides the carrying out of toilets and a service room. In 2002 the Comune has realized in the park a polyfunctional wooden-structure, that integrates perfectly in the environmental context, it has redrawn the internal road conditions with the carrying out of small paths that are easily practicable even by handicapped and it has built a wide parking, used for the park. In 2003 the Comune has equipped a part of the park with games for children.
Interested area: the total area of the park is 3,6 hectares wide. The surface of the lake is 5.600 square-metres.
