The park was born in a very industrial area. It has been carried out by private people in agreement with the Comune. Nowadays it's municipal property. The park extends from the watercourse of the Marinella torrent as far as the parking of the Shopping Centre "I Gigli". The management of the area has been entrusted for ten years to the Association of the owners of the Shopping Centre, that guarantees its upkeep. The park has a life path with athletic equipment for the motor activity. Moreover the presence of a gazebo, benches, cycle - paths, allow the frequent visitors of the park to alternate between moments of complete relax and physical activity. A wooden footbridge joins the parking of the Shopping Centre with the park and guarantees the passage from one to the other, for pedestrians and cyclists, in all safety. The park has been enlarged in 2002 with an equipped garden, realized by private people in agreement with the municipal Authority, that will become the owner, within the project for the carrying out of the Vis Path� multiplex cinema.
