Competences of the office

The Culture Office is involved in the administrative functions relating to the promotion of the cultural activities,as activities among the public interest facilities. The role of the office is showed through an annual programming, presented by the Local Authority and articulated in initiatives of recurrent, occasional nature or referred to significant artistic moments.

The coordination of the cultural urban activities involves the execution of:

realization of initiatives with direct assumption of administrative and practical tasks and the concession of rooms, equipment and facilities;
promotion, studying and organization of cultural activities both managed by the Administration and with contributions from local and non-local authorities and associations;
some activities linked to the twinnings and the European integration, and with particular care at the themes linked to the memory and the development of a culture of peace;
management of the "Rodari" auditorium, an equipped and appropriate room for events and activities organized both by the Comune and the associations;
management through relationship of agreement of the rehearsal music room, of the young people centres, of the schools of music and theatre, Auditorium surveillance, museum of San Donnino;
Management of Villa Montalvo and Limonaia, centre of art for exhibitions, meetings and social and cultural activities, for visits and marriages;
fringe cultural activities and events linked to the young policies.
