• consulting on the formation of the collecting of books for children and teenagers, through the production of a "bibliography of basis" of the library for teenagers yearly updated and cosultable in Internet (Almeno questi, second edition November 2006);
• documentation of the most significant projects in the sector of the libraries for teenagers;
• updating of the library specialized in the area of the reading, the analysis of the publishing and literary phenomenons relatives to the book for teenagers, of the libraries for teenagers, of the illustration in the field of the literature for the childhood (documentation Section on the literature for teenagers)
• electronical newsletter contained news of initiatives, useful web sites, newsnesses of the sector. Consult the newsletters publicated since 2005;
• adhesion to the on - line service of reference of the Tuscany Region "Ask in library", with the aim to put on disposition of the citizen a resource and a professionality very qualificated in the "service and documents for children and teenagers" section; 
• organization of seminar days for librarians regards the organization, the services and the activities of the libraries for teenagers;
• activities of formation for apprenticeships, stages, scholarships destinated to librarians and universitarian students, students of master and to subjects entrusted in formative courses for figures of "Library - documentalist", also through specific conventions with the degree courses actived by Idest.
• investigation on the library services for children and teenagers in Tuscani with the aim to do an analysis of the state of the services for children and teenagers in the activities of the public libraries, realized in October 2005. Have answered in all at the questionnaire 130 libraries. Cosult the final report of the investigation.
